Pearl River High School Presents 'Up the Hill'
Performances will be held April 29-30 in the Pearl River High School auditorium. The play is an original by the school's own Erin McDermott.

From Pearl River School District:
Pearl River High School will be performing Up the Hill, an original play written by one of the high school’s own students, senior Erin McDermott. The play focuses on Beryl, a peasant in a fantastical empire filled with magic and treachery. She is largely content with her life as a farmer's wife, until an encounter with a wizard sets off a chain of events that led Beryl to discover how little she really knows about the kingdom she lives in, her husband, and even herself. The play features sophomores Hanna Preston (Beryl) and TJ Sullivan (Ren), along with freshmen Sara Slattery (Xenon) and Jenna Mannon (Lady Ashby).
Up the Hill’s performances will be on Friday, April 29th at 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, April 30th at 3:00 p.m. in the Pearl River High School auditorium. Tickets for these evening performances are $8.00 and are available at the door. There will also be a special free performance for Pearl River senior citizens on Thursday, April 28th at 3:30 p.m.
