Meet the next in our Q&A series with this year's stunning group of valedictorians and salutatorians.

PEARL RIVER, NY — This year's valedictorians and salutatorians are an extraordinary group of young people. Patch asked them to answer a few questions about their high school experience and what they look forward to in the future.

Today, meet Tanner Chiamprasert, valedictorian from Pearl River High School.

1. What will you miss most about high school?

I will miss the good times my friends and I had throughout high school.

2. What are you looking forward to in moving on to college?

I am really looking forward to meeting new people in college.

3. What was your favorite high school class?

I really liked nutrition class, mostly since we cooked and ate food at least once a week.

4. What clubs or extra-curricular activities were you involved in?

I was a member of varsity soccer, winter track, and spring track. As for clubs, I participated in Math League and Science Olympiad. I also played the trumpet and French Horn in school musicals and band.

5. What advice would you give to underclassmen?

My advice for underclassmen would be to work hard both in and outside of school and to explore your passions.

6. Any teachers/staff who stood out throughout your journey?

My band teacher Mr. Evans really stood out, especially since I had him every year in high school. Also, Mrs. Shepard, my English teacher of two years, as well as the now retired physics teacher Mr. Yorks, with his stories and jokes, stood out.

7. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Ten years from now, I see myself having a job somewhere, probably near a major city. Hopefully, I'll have a flying car.

Fun Fact: I am the oldest cousin in my family.
