Pearl River Homeowner Subdued Would-Be Burglar: Police
He entered the house through an unlocked door, police allege.

PEARL RIVER, NY — A Pearl River man is accused of attempted burglary n the hamlet. Police said he was caught because the homeowner discovered and subdued him until officers could get there.
Michael Harmon, 27, entered a residence on Washington Avenue through an unlocked back door at about 11 p.m. Sunday, police allege.
He is due in Orangetown Town Court to answer charges of attempted burglary, a felony; and criminal trespass, a misdemeanor.
