A Pearl River man who sexually assaulted a 3-year-old girl has been sentenced to 10 years in state prison. , 49, of Pearl River, was also sentenced Tuesday by Rockland County Court Judge William K. Nelson to 10 years post-release supervision after pleading guilty to first-degree Criminal Sexual Act. District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe said that on April 30, 2011, at about 9:30 p.m., Malddonado-Miranda was arrested by for the sexual assualt involving a child that was known to him. Shortly after the assault, the child told her mother what had happened, and the mother contacted the police.
