Pearl River School Board Holds Reorganization, Regular Meetings
The Pearl River School District's regular board of education meeting will follow the annual reorganization meeting, which starts at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The Pearl River Board of Education will continue the work of preparing for the upcoming school year with its annual reorganization meeting 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the district administration building.
The meeting includes the election of the board president and vice president, positions currently held by Michael Clohessy and Rob Davis respectively, by the board. The new president and vice president will take their oaths along with the board members elected this year, Bruce Bond and Jackie Curtiss, Superintendent of Schools Dr. John Morgano and District Clerk Mary Flanagan.
The meeting also includes matters such as the appointment of officers and personnel and setting the meeting schedule for 2012-13. The board's next meeting is set for July 24, with Aug. 14 listed as tentative.

The school board's regular meeting will follow the reorganization. That agenda includes the Kindergarten milk plan for 2012-13, consultant and transportation contacts and personnel items.
