Pearl River Schools Wrapping Up 2010-11

The final week of 2010-11 focuses on moving forward for the Pearl River School District, with a week filled with ceremonies for students taking the next step in their lives.

Whether they are fourth graders who will be at Pearl River Middle School in the fall, seventh graders who will go on to the high school or graduating seniors preparing for colleges, each will have their moment this week.

Even the administration is included, with the district holding a farewell reception for Superintendent of Schools Dr. Frank Auriemma 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Pirate Cove.

The list of events for the week is as follows:

• Evans Park Elementary School Grade Four Promotion - 9:30 a.m. today
• Lincoln Avenue Elementary School Grade Four Promotion - 9:30 a.m. Tuesday
• Franklin Avenue Elementary School Grade Four Promotion - 9:30 a.m. Wednesday
• Pearl River Middle School Grade Seven Promotio - 6 p.m. Wednesday in the high school gym.
• Pearl River High School Graduation - 6 p.m. Thursday at the football field.
• Pearl River High School Project Graduation - 11 p.m. Thursday.
