How did you come up with the name?
I wanted to give our work some grace and style, didn't like the term up cycle or shabby chic, this is where The Upstyle Chique came into play

Why start a business in this town?
This is home, we are very privileged to be able to work around the kids school schedule, sick days and snow days.

What business are you in?
Furniture redesign, kitchen cabinets, fireplaces and bathroom cabinets.
What’s the most difficult challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?
not having enough time, humidity and really cold temperatures.
What’s been your proudest achievement since opening?
We feel proud when we give back a customer's piece that we have just Upstyled and they are overcome with emotion, and just totally love what we done, also a double page article in Rivertown Magazine.
How does your business give back to the community?
We give back to our community about 10 times per year, teaming up with Rocklandmom.com and March of Dimes, we will donate a special piece, we also just recently donated 5 pieces to a "Hope for Brian" fundraiser.
