Pearl River Teachers Visit Croton-Harmon Kindergarten
Carrie E. Tompkins Elementary School welcomed Pearl River teachers to observe classes.

The Croton-Harmon school district often welcomes teachers and administrators from nearby schools looking to learn from CETs best practices and integrate them into their own lessons.
Most recently, one elementary school principal and three kindergarten teachers from Pearl River stopped by Carrie E. Tompkins Elementary School in Croton-on-Hudson, where they observed a hands-on math lesson, student/teacher interactions and more.
“There is a strong emphasis on addressing the social and emotional needs of our students and providing them with the necessary skills to be independent learners,” said CET Principal Kelly Maloney. “The positive classroom communities promote collaboration and foster a love of learning.”
