Pearl River To Vote On 2018-19 School Budget

PEARL RIVER, NY — Voters in the Pearl River school district will be going to the polls Tuesday, May 15 to have their say on the budget for the 2018-19 school year. In addition, four people are running for two seats on the Board of Education.
Meet them at Board Candidate Night, 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, in the District Administration Board Room, 135 West Crooked Hill Road, Pearl River, NY 10965. They are:
- Bruce Bond
- Jackie Dubil-Craig
- Michael Mandel
- Lisa Williams
The proposed spending package is $68,078,176.00, up 3.34 percent from the current year. The tax levy increase is 2.3 percent.
