Police Turn House Fire into Teaching Moment

A fire on Pine Glen Drive March 1 left the home uninhabitable, Orangetown police said.

Heavy smoke and fire was coming from an upstairs bedroom when officers arrived. Emergency responders had to help two residents out of the house.

Just after 6pm last night, the Blauvelt Volunteer Fire Company responded to a reported structure fire on Pine Glen Drive with possible occupants trapped.
