Possible Luring Incident Reported

Orangetown police received a report from a parent about a suspicious incident at 7:20 a.m. April 6.

The parent said that as their child stood in their driveway on Van Buren Street waiting to go to school, a man in a silver car with a small white dog in the passenger seat pulled across the driveway and motioned to the boy.

The boy didn't move, and as the parent walked down the driveway toward the car, the man drove off.
