Rash of Parking-Lot Thefts Could be Traveling Gang: Police
The Felony Lane Gang specializes in smash-and-grab operations, police said.
Orangetown police said recent thefts from vehicles in parking lots of local parks and gyms may be associated with a traveling group of thieves.
"The suspect(s) are breaking a vehicle window and stealing pocketbooks and other items of value. Be alert for suspicious activity and do not leave valuable items in your vehicle," police said.
