RCC To Hold Spring Open House, Program Info Sessions

ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY — Rockland Community College will hold information sessions on academic programs this spring and is hosting an in-person Open House on April 7 from 4:30 to 7 pm at the Main Campus in Suffern.

The Open House is a great opportunity for potential students and their families to tour the campus with current students who will offer their own take on life at RCC.

Attendees can meet with representatives from Financial Aid, Student Success and Specialized Services; Academic Deans will be hosting breakout rooms to assist students to find the right academic program. Spring Open House Registration

The College will also be offering a series of academic program information sessions starting March 23 for careers in Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Business, Automotive Technology, Legal Studies (which includes Criminal Justice, Legal/Paralegal Studies and Corporate Homeland Security) and a session for the Sam Draper Honors Program.

Nursing— This is a first step towards a rewarding and meaningful career as a Registered Nurse (RN). Learn about requirements, tuition, financial aid, and classroom and clinical training, as well as the application process. Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)—This program offers entry into one of the fastest growing professions in the United States. This live virtual meeting introduces Occupational Therapy faculty and explains the OTA curriculum, program requirements and the application process. The session will held via Zoom on Wednesday, March 23 at 4pm. OTA Info Session Registration

Business Sessions—Find out how you can earn an associate degree or certificate in one of RCC’s Business programs during one of these virtual sessions being held on Wednesday, March 23 at 5:30 pm, Tuesday, April 19 at 4 pm, Wednesday, May 18 at 5:30 pm, Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 4 pm and Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 4 pm.
