ROCKLAND COUNTY COMPASSIONATE FRIENDS CHILDREN'S MEMORIAL

The Rockland County chapter of The Compassionate Friends invites families to our 25th annual Children’s Memorial Day. It will take place at 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 18th at the Children’s Memorial Garden in Veterans Memorial Park, in Pearl River, New York.

The service, celebrating the lives of children, grandchildren and siblings who are no longer with us, includes readings, poetry, music and a balloon liftoff.

The Compassionate Friends (TCF) is a nationwide mutual assistance self-help support organization, offering support and understanding to families who have experienced the death of a child. Founded in England in 1969, it was established in the U.S. in 1972. There are nearly 600 local community chapters.
