Rockland Man Extradited Over Child Porn, Sexual Misconduct in New Jersey

He was arrested as a fugitive from justice by Orangetown police.

A Rockland County man wanted in New Jersey was arrested by the Orangetown Police Department in Sparkill June 28. Detectives were working with the Union County NJ Prosecutor's Office.

Erik Johnson, 49, is accused of distributing one or more images depicting the sexual exploitation or abuse of a child. He also engaged in sexual conduct which would "impair or debauch the morals of a child," police alleged. The time frame: March 6-23.

Johnson was arrested as a fugitive from justice and held without bail at the Rockland County Jail pending extradition to New Jersey.
