Summer Relief: Pearl River's Work Week Weather

The storm's aftermath will make for an unusual last week in July around Orangetown. We give you the details.

PEARL RIVER, NY — The storm system that swept in over the weekend is soaking and chilling us. And it feels particularly strange after all that heat and humidity.

"So stay dry out there, Hudson Valley," said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather. "It’s a soggy start to the work week."

The storm system will move east, but the cool will continue. AccuWeather Meteorologist Brett Rathbun said high temperatures will be stuck in the 60s and 70s for a few days — 10 to 15 degrees Fahrenheit below normal for late July.
