Three Locals Hold Rockland County Government Internships

Shaquille Cheris, Williamson Jean-Louis and Andrew Reda are working in the County Executive's Office.

Three local students are spending this summer exploring the inner workings of the County Executive’s Office.

“This is a hands-on internship program that my staff and I conduct each summer,” County Executive Ed Day said in a written statement. “ It offers high school and college students an unparalleled opportunity to contribute to the work of the County Executive’s Office, while gaining valuable public service experience.”

The interns this summer are Andrew Reda, who is attending Fordham University, Shaquille Cheris, at Rockland Community College, and Williamson Jean-Louis, North Rockland High School.
