Traditional Workouts? Think again!

As we all know, father's day is just around the corner and sadly, I have been at school as a summer Resident Assistant. What I thought would be better than any other gift would be to surprise my father for father's day weekend. Good thing for me, he liked having me home as well. So, now I am home and without a "traditional" gym with a bench press, smith machine, leg press, or free weights. Bummer, right? WRONG! Workouts are just about doing something active and sometimes, it is okay to take rest days (or even weekends!) Earlier today, I went with my father to the driving range. Along with my love for throwing heavy objects far distances, I like to think of myself as a pretty good golfer. Sharing a jumbo bucket of golf balls with my dad meant I got to shoot around 100 balls. With that much swinging combined with the humidity and the arrival of sunny weather, I built up a little of a sweat. So there you go, a workout without going to the gym.
