Troop 2055 of Blauvelt Welcomes New Eagle Scout

For his community service project, David created an outdoor educational classroom for the West Nyack Library.

From Rockland County Executive Co: Rockland County Executive Ed Day congratulated Clarkstown South High School junior David Bruen of Troop 2055 of Blauvelt on becoming an Eagle Scout at his Eagle Scout Court of Honor.

For his community service project, David created an outdoor educational classroom for the West Nyack Library. He created a 40-foot path accessible from the parking lot, constructed and installed two picnic tables and put up bird houses.

“Congratulations to David on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. We are proud of all that he has accomplished and know his project will benefit those visiting the West Nyack Library,” said County Executive Day. “I wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.”
