Wayne, NJ Man Threatens Pearl River Homeowner: Police
He tried to kick in the front and back doors at 2 a.m. Sunday, police said.
PEARL RIVER, NY — It was 2:13 a.m. Sunday when Orangetown police responded to a home on Hanson Avenue after getting a call about an intruder.
They were met by the homeowner, who told them a stranger started kicking the back door and then started on the front door — at which point the homeowner confronted him. The stranger shoved past and into the house, making threats.
When police got there, the man was in the dining room. He violently resisted being taken into custody, police said.

Ryan McMahon, 21, of Wayne, New Jersey, faces felony charges of burglary and criminal mischief and a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest.
He is due to return to Orangetown town court June 24.
