Wrong-Way DWI On Route 303

A Manhattan man was driving on the wrong side of the road in the middle of the night, Orangetown police said.

BLAUVELT, NY — Orangetown police spotted a car headed north in the southbound lanes of Route 303 just after 3 a.m. July 14.

They stopped the driver, and allege that they found him to be intoxicated.

At Orangetown police headquarters, Jeffrey Martin of Manhattan failed a breathalyzer test, police said. They also said a look at his driving record showed the 63-year-old had been convicted of driving while intoxicated in another state within the past 10 years.
