3 Arrested After Loaded Smith & Wesson Found During Early Morning Main Street Stop: NYSP

The traffic stop in Peekskill led to felony charges against a North Carolina man, and two Westchester residents.

PEEKSKILL, NY — A late night traffic stop led to felony charges against a North Carolina man, and two Westchester residents.

On August 16, at 1:31 a.m., New York State Police in Cortlandt pulled over the car on Main Street in the City of Peekskill.

The driver was identified as 40-year-old Antonio Stewart, of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. The passengers were identified as 41-year-old Khwan Wooden and 36-year-old Brant Schepper, both of Peekskill.

Stewart, Wooden, and Schepper were arrested and charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon.
