3 Women Accused Of Felony DWIs In Cortlandt, Peekskill
Two of them were driving on Route 9 when police pulled them over. Another was reported to police.
CORTLANDT, NY — State police reported making three felony level drunken-driving arrests between Oct. 18 and 20 in Cortlandt. All three were women. Two were driving on Route 9 at the time they were stopped. A third was arrested after police were alerted that she appeared intoxicated while picking up a child.
- Aida M. Rivera, 50, of Cortlandt, NY, was charged with driving while intoxicated with a previous conviction within ten years, a class E felony. After she arrived on Memorial Drive in Cortlandt Oct. 18 she was the subject of a report about an intoxicated parent attempting to pick up her child from the Cortlandt Youth Center. Investigation revealed she was under the influence of alcohol, police alleged.
- Mariana Freiberg, 27, of Ardsley, NY, was charged Oct. 20 with DWI with a prior conviction within ten years, a class E felony. She was traveling on State Route 9 in Cortlandt when she was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed she was under the influence of alcohol, police said.
- Jessica Maffettone, 41, of Cortlandt, NY, was charged DWI with a prior conviction within ten years, a class E felony, on Oct. 20. She was traveling on State Route 9 in Peekskill, when she was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed she was under the influence of alcohol, police alleged.
