Aggravated DWI Charge for Cortlandt Woman

New York State Police arrested Stefania Montoya-Navarro, 20, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Troopers were dispatched by the Hudson Valley Transportation Management Center to investigate a one-car auto collision that occurred on the exit ramp of the Sprain Brook Parkway.

An investigation conducted by police revealed that Montoya-Navarro, the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, was intoxicated at the time of the crash.

The Cortlandt resident supplied police with a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .18 percent, more than two times the legal limit of intoxication. She was issued traffic tickets directing her to appear before the Village of Elmsford Court at a later date.
