ALERT: NY State Police Seek Armed, Dangerous Man

State police issued this notice at 8:36AM Tuesday:

The New York State Police at Cortlandt are currently searching for George J. Foster Jr, 33,of Cortlandt, New York. Foster is described as white male, 5’6, and approximately 200 pounds.

Foster is currently wanted for Menacing with a Firearm and has outstanding warrants in New York and South Carolina.

Foster was last seen on the 200 block of Locust Avenue in the Town of Cortlandt at about 3:30 a.m. December 22.

Foster may be may be accompanied by Renee Jones, 33, who is also wanted by the State Police from an unrelated incident.

Foster should be considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS.

There is a large ongoing State Police presence in the Locust Avenue area at this time.

If Foster is observed, please do not attempt to take any action on your own, and call 911 immediately.
