On July 29, West Point had their annual Community Fair event for the entire Hudson Valley where new military personnel, their families and civilians throughout the region came together to see and learn about what different companies, organizations and municipalities have to offer in 2026 and beyond.
The City of Peekskill had their bright colorful table, equipped with the new logo and design, handed out brochures on everything the city has to offer, from new art and theater announcements, restaurants, and hotels to summer outings on the Hudson, including boat cruises and the new state-of-the-art go-kart family fun. Peekskill also provided a massive list of "What to Do in Peekskill" so families of both military and civilians can come to the city for fun and a great education.
The event, held at the Eisenhower Hall on Pitcher Road on the gorgeous West Point campus, included over 70 booths plus food tables. At the start of the event, West Point military and non-military personnel deeply thanked everyone for coming and taking part in the event. Also, raffles were held throughout the afternoon.
