• Peekskill Man Charged With Animal Cruelty After Dogtopia Video, SPCA Says (shorenewsnetwork.com) — A Peekskill resident and former Dogtopia of Mount Kisco employee has been charged with animal cruelty after SPCA Westchester says video showed him violently slamming a small senior dog during grooming. The dog briefly lost consciousness and was later found with bruising, and Westchester's district attorney and SPCA officials are condemning the alleged abuse while urging residents to report suspected cruelty.
