• Governor Hochul Announces Final Mid-Hudson Momentum Fund Awards, Completing $150 Million Regional Housing and Infrastructure Initiative (blogspot.com) — A major state housing initiative is sending $3.25 million to the SoLo project in Peekskill, helping create 231 new apartments, including 100 affordable units, plus new commercial space. The funding will also upgrade streets and infrastructure around Louisa and South streets, improving connections between downtown, the waterfront, and the Metro-North station as part of a broader Mid-Hudson housing push.
   

• Live high school football schedule, scoreboard for Sept. 24-26 (lohud.com) — Peekskill football fans can see their team travel to Somers for a 6:30 p.m. kickoff during a busy Sept. 24–26 slate of high school games across the region. The schedule also reflects reshuffled matchups after Croton's season-ending forfeit, with many Westchester and Hudson Valley programs adjusting to keep Homecoming and Senior Day plans intact.
