
Hendrick Hudson High School senior Jazz Munitz placed third in his poster category at the Upstate New York Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (JSHS), held at the University at Albany on March 12 and 13, 2015. The Junior Science and Humanities Symposia (JSHS) Program invites high school students to submit a paper on an original research investigation in the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics. JSHS scholarships are awarded to finalists in the regional symposia paper, or poster, competition to recognize excellence in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. All students in grades 9-12 enrolled in public, private, or home schools are eligible to participate. In the accompanying photo, Jazz is shown presenting his poster.
