Anthony Maggiore, 59, a resident of Cortlandt Manor for 29 years, passed away on November 22, 2014.
Born on November 24, 1954 in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Salvatore & Lenore (nee Auci) Maggiore. In 1977, Tony was a graduate of the 2nd paramedic training program out of Jacobi Hospital. He continued to work for EMS for 15 years. Later on he worked as a police officer for the Yonkers Police Department, retiring in 2008.
He was a sergeant at arms for the Police Columbia Association of Westchester, and a member of the I.P.A.

Upon retirement, he enjoyed building a second home in Upstate NY. Anthony was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting.
On July 24, 1983 in Hastings-on-Hudson, he married Corinne Bakanic, who survives him at home. Along with his wife of 31-yrs, he is survived by his 4 sons: Salvatore (Melissa) Maggiore, Anthony Maggiore (Jill Eubanks), and Jesse & George Maggiore. He is also survived by his 2 grandsons: Zakk and Phoenix Maggiore; and his sisters, Connie Maggiore & Joann Wells.
