Brush Fires Spreading in Cortlandt
Firefighters from companies in three counties are fighting the blaze that started Sunday plus another. BREAKING

CORTLANDT, NY — Multiple fire companies from three counties are fighting a brush fire up at Camp Smith.
The New York State Forest Rangers and Westchester County Police Aviation were called in. The West Point Brush Unit has also responded.
As of Monday morning, there were five acres burning. The fire was spreading fast due to dry and wind conditions, according to Kempter's Fire Wire.

The Peekskill Volunteer Ambulance Corps has also been on the scene, providing rehab for the firefighting crews.
