Buchanan Democrats Give Nod to Sitting Trustees

The Buchanan Democratic Committee held its annual Caucus this past Monday night.

Duane Jackson and Cesare “Chazz” Pasquale were unanimously nominated for the two Village Trustee positions that are up for election this spring, said Dan O’Neill, chairman of the Buchanan Democratic Committee.

Both are currently serving as trustees.

The Buchanan village board is comprised of the mayor, deputy mayor and three trustees. Trustees are elected to 2-year terms and are paid $5,000 annually.

Village elections are March 18, and polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
