Buchanan To Elect Mayor, Trustees Tuesday

BUCHANAN, NY — The village of Buchanan has contested races that will be on the ballot Tuesday.

The mayor position and two trustee slots, all for two-year terms, will be decided. The terms are from April 2022 to April 2024.

All election districts will be voting at the Village Hall, 236 Tate Ave., in Buchanan. The hours are 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Incumbent Mayor Theresa Knickerbocker is facing off again Trustee Sean Murray for the village's top job.

Incumbent Trustees Richard Funchion and Nicolas Zachary are running for re-election against Steve Laker and Dan Stewart.
