Emmy, Golden Globe and Tony Award Winner Darren Criss Coming to Paramount Hudson Valley May 30th at 8pm in Peekskill

 Emmy, Golden Globe and Tony Award winner Darren Criss will bring his dynamic live concert experience to the Hudson Valley at the Paramount Hudon Valley  on May 30th performing songs that span his acclaimed career across television, Broadway, film and music.

Since first capturing audiences worldwide through FOX’s hit television series Glee, Criss has built a career defined by versatility and creativity, seamlessly moving between stage, screen and songwriting. For this special concert event, Criss will perform beloved songs from throughout his eclectic career, including music from GleeA Very Potter Musical, and the acclaimed Broadway productions in which he has starred.

Criss currently stars in the critically acclaimed Broadway hit Maybe Happy Ending, directed by Michael Arden. Playing at the Belasco Theatre, the production opened to unanimous rave reviews, including a   and a New York Times Critics’ Pick.

His celebrated Broadway career recently earned him a Tony Award, adding to an already impressive list of accolades that includes an Emmy Award, Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award and Critics’ Choice Award.Before becoming a breakout television star, Criss gained an early following as both an actor and songwriter through the viral YouTube sensation A Very Potter Musical in 2009.

Raised in San Francisco, Criss honed his craft performing inventive interpretations of popular songs in local cafés and bars. That musical foundation helped propel his success on Glee, where many of his performances became Billboard-charting hits.

In 2015, his songwriting earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for penning “This Time,” featured in the show’s series finale.Beyond television and Broadway, Criss has continued to write and produce music extensively for theater, film and television projects.

In 2019, he created, executive produced, starred in, and wrote all original songs for the musical comedy series Royalties. He also wrote the opening number for the 2022 Tony Awards.

His recent musical projects include the genre-blending EP Masquerade and the holiday album A Very Darren Crissmas.A veteran of the Broadway stage, Criss’ theater credits include starring roles in Hedwig and the Angry InchHow to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and the 2022 revival of American Buffalo alongside Laurence Fishburne and Sam Rockwell.
