The need for blood donation is critical: Someone in the U.S. needs blood every two seconds, whether it’s a new mother needing to replace blood loss, a patient with a medical condition or someone who just experienced serious injuries from an accident or natural disaster. And there are zero substitutes for human blood.

Saving a life doesn’t always take heroics. Sometimes, it’s just a few moments of your time to donate. With every blood donation, you can save up to three lives.
