History of U.S. Coins from Colonial Days to 250th Anniversary

2026 marks America's 250th anniversary of independence.  Dennis Sklenari, District Representative with the American Numismatic Association, will discuss the origins and development of U.S. coinage from its colonial period to the current semi-quincentennial coins being circulated during 2026 and the limited-year redesigns the U.S. Mint will be producing to provide us with history in our hands.  We will see how each coin tells a piece of America's story, its people, ideals, and journey.  Visit the Library's Web site to register.
