FREE Reading of Original Short Play to Raise Awareness and Funds to Help the Homeless

Grace Episcopal Church Trinity Campus, 7 S Highland Ave, Ossining, NY, 10562

What does it really mean to be homeless? Who are the people behind that word, and what would they want us to understand?

These are the questions at the heart of First a Home, an original short play by Joni Fritz. A special free reading, directed by Lori Myers and produced by Gretchen Metzloff in collaboration with Grace Church and Father Hal, will be presented on Sunday, October 18, at 1:00 PM at Grace Church's Trinity Campus in Ossining.

Through a series of stories inspired by real-life experiences, First a Home gives voice to individuals and families experiencing homelessness, exploring the circumstances that brought them there, the challenges they face, and the humanity too often overlooked.

Performed by members of the Grace Church congregation, the reading is free and open to the public. Its purpose is to raise awareness of homelessness in our communities, with voluntary donations benefiting the Ossining Food Pantry.
