Calling All Lovers of Sacred Music

Choirgirl Music is hosting a benefit concert this Sunday, November 8 at Concordia College to support aid organization, World Relief.

Celebrating the church year with anthems and hymns, this benefit concert supporting World Relief (www.worldrelief.org) will be held at 4 pm on Sunday, November 8 at Sommer Center on the Concordia College campus, located at 171 White Plains Road, Bronxville, NY. Suggested free-will donation of $20 adults / $15 seniors and students, but any level of giving will be accepted. This concert will be performed by local professionals, with guest appearances by former Metropolitan Opera singers Todd Thomas and Elisabeth Stevens.

Executive Director Linda Bottos formed Choirgirl Music (www.choirgirlmusic.org) just over a year ago as a means of raising funds to help support humanitarian aid organizations. Since that time, Choirgirl Music has raised over $2,500 for such organizations as Samaritan’s Purse, Food Bank of the Hudson Valley, and most recently, Imeldahof, a home for neglected and abused children in Aruba.
