Carmel Woman Accused of Shoplifting at Kohl's
Police allege she paid for one item but left with several.

New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Jessica Fox, 43, for Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor.
State Police were dispatched to Kohl’s Department Store Sept. 1 for a reported larceny. Following an investigation conducted with the assistance of Kohl’s loss prevention, police concluded that a woman identified as Fox selected several items from the store and only paid for one item. They allege then exited the store failing to pay for approximately $283 worth of merchandise; store security recovered the items outside of the store and she left prior to police arrival.
The Carmel resident was taken into custody at her home and issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Cortlandt Court on Sept. 11.
