The Peekskill Common Council appointed local businessman Brian Fassett at the Monday, February 14th meeting to fill a vacancy on the council. Vivian McKenzie vacated the seat due to her electoral appointment to Peekskill Mayor on January 1, 2022. The vacant seat, now filled by Fassett, will be up for election this November.
