RESOLUTION ADOPTING LOCAL LAW No. 9 OF 2021

AMENDING CHAPTER 474 OF THE CODE OF

THE CITY OF PEEKSKILL ENTITLED “SNOW AND ICE REMOVAL”

WHEREAS, on August 16, 2021, a proposed Local Law was placed on the desks of the members of the Common Council amending Chapter 474 of the City Code entitled “Snow and Ice Removal”; and

WHEREAS, on September 27, 2021, a public hearing was held on said Local Law virtually via videoconferencing and in the Common Council meeting room, City Hall, Peekskill, New York, after due publication of notice of said public hearing; and

WHEREAS, the said Local Law has been on the desks of the members of the Common

Council in its final form for at least seven (7) days, exclusive of Sundays.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said Local Law be, and the same is hereby adopted and shall be known as Local Law No. 9 for the year 2021 in the City of Peekskill.
