Nutrition program staff will provide meals in advance of the planned closure to ensure seniors nutritious meals during the time of temporary closure. The decision to close, made in the best interest of safety for all senior program members and staff, comes after guidance from Westchester County Office of the Aging and conversations with the City’s Head of DPW, the contractor conducting the work and the City Manager.
The Nutrition department plans to re-open on Monday, November 29th in accordance with the timeline provided by the contractor completing the work.
