Cocaine Crash In Peekskill: State Police

PEEKSKILL, NY — A Mount Vernon woman faces charges in city court after a 1-car crash June 15.

Normajean Wilke, 43, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, both misdemeanors.

State police allege she was traveling on Washington Street in Peekskill when she was involved in a crash. Investigation revealed she was under the influence of drugs, in possession of a small amount of crack-cocaine, police said.
