Cops Seek Help IDing Duo Using Counterfeit $100 Bills
Police allege they used phony money to pay for stuff they bought at a game store in Mohegan Lake.
CORTLANDT, NY — The New York State Police in Cortlandt are seeking the public’s assistance to help identify the pictured people wanted for questioning.
On Sept. 26, 2016, members of the New York State Police in Cortlandt were dispatched to the GameStop on East Main Street in Mohegan Lake for a fraud complaint. The store manager reported that two days before, two people had entered the store and conducted two separate transactions.
The duo, who were captured on surveillance, are suspected of paying for the merchandise using seven counterfeit $100 bills.
