Cortlandt Cold Case: Cops Still Seek Woman's Killer

CORTLANDT, NY — New York State Police continue to investigate a 10-year-old homicide in the town of Cortlandt.

On March 27, 2009, the body of 39-year-old Sabrina Rasa was found on Albany Post Road behind the Veteran Affairs Hospital in Montrose.

She was the victim of a homicide.

Rasa was a lifelong resident of Peekskill and often frequented the Veterans Administration hospital in Montrose.

She was last seen alive on March 25, 2009, and was found dead two days later.

The State Police have followed hundreds of leads throughout this investigation on both the VA campus and the surrounding area. Investigators will continue to tirelessly pursue any evidence in order to find justice and peace for Sabrina Rasa.
