Cortlandt Man Accused of Domestic Abuse
He is alleged to have knocked a woman unconscious while holding their child.

New York State Police arrested Angel F. Cobos, 30, of Cortlandt, New York, for Assault 3rd Degree, Criminal Mischief 4th Degree, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, all Class A Misdemeanors.
On Jan. 11, troopers were dispatched to a Cortlandt residence for a reported physical domestic disturbance. The victim reported that Cobos struck her in the face and she lost consciousness. When she got up and attempted to contact 911 for assistance, Cobos prevented her from using the phone to call for help. The altercation occurred while Cobos was holding the couple’s 6-month old child.
Cobos fled the home prior to police arriving on scene. He was subsequently located in Peekskill and placed in police custody.
