Cortlandt Manor Native Honored with Community Service Award

From Nazareth College:

ROCHESTER, NY (04/15/2016)-- Samuel Cooperman of Cortlandt Manor NY earned the Community Service Award at the 2016 President's Civic Engagement Awards ceremony. The Community Service Award recognizes students who have demonstrated a commitment to service, either to our own Nazareth College community or the greater community at large.

The College gathered to share our service stories, and honor and celebrate the vibrant organizations with whom we serve. Nazareth also gathers to celebrate the commitments that students, faculty and staff make towards leading a civically engaged life, volunteering time and talents to our community, and inspiring others to become caring, active and informed members of our society.

Cooperman is a Music Education major at Nazareth College.
