CORTLANDT, NY — Cortlandt officials celebrated the opening of the town's new Nature and Fitness Trail with a Ribbon Cutting and Arbor Day Tree Planting.
The new trail is located behind Charles J. Cook Pool, 293 Furnace Dock Road, Cortlandt Manor. It is approximately ½ mile and consists of an 8-ft wide rustic trail and twenty (20) pieces of fitness equipment nestled in a lovely natural setting.
Town officials also planted a red oak tree, suggested by the Town of Cortlandt Conservation Advisory Council
(CAC), near the NorWest Building behind the town pool.
