Wednesday, Nov. 26 – 8:03 a.m. – A property owner on Bramblebush Road reported to county police that a neighbor texted him a photo of a Ford pickup truck that was on his property. The owner said he did not recognize the vehicle and suspects that illegal hunters may be on the property. A Westchester County police officer responded but the vehicle was gone upon arrival.
4:51 p.m. – A Westchester County Police officer responded to Lent Street on a report of a downed wire. The wire was not live and was moved to the side of the road by the officer.
Thursday, Nov. 27 – 7:52 p.m. – Westchester County Police assisted a 65-year-old woman who suffered an injury to her leg at Best Buy in the Cortlandt Town Center. The woman was injured when she was struck by a box containing a 55-inch television set that was being pulled on a cart through the store. The Mohegan Lake Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded and transported the woman to Hudson Valley Hospital Center in Cortlandt.

Saturday, Nov. 29 – 5:59 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to a gas station at Locust Avenue and Route 6 on a report of a loud dispute between a customer and employee over 66 cents. The matter was resolved upon the officer’s arrival.
Sunday, Nov. 30 – 9:22 a.m. – Westchester County Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute at a residence on Trolley Road in Cortlandt Manor. The dispute was verbal in nature only.

Monday, Dec. 1 – 10:58 a.m. -- Dania Flores, 35, of Cortlandt Street, Peekskill, was charged with Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor, at Kohl’s Department Store on Route 6. She is accused of putting on a pair of boots valued at $59.99 and trying to walk out of the store without paying.
6:35 p.m. – Westchester County Police removed a Bee-Line bus passenger from a bus on Kings Ferry Road after he told the driver he only had a large bill and therefore could not pay the fare. When the man refused to get off the bus, the driver flagged an officer down. The officer directed the man to a phone at a nearby deli and advised him to call a cab.
Tuesday, Dec. 2 – 9:32 a.m. – A Cortlandt resident reported to Westchester County Police that his wife’s car was vandalized a day earlier at the Cortlandt Town Center. The vehicle suffered scratches to the windshield, rear window and driver’s side door.
Wednesday, Dec. 3 – 2:20 p.m. – Darnell Hicks, 37, of North Division Street, Peekskill, was charged with Criminal Contempt 2nd Degree, a misdemeanor. He is accused of violating a court-issued Order of Protection by sending text messages to a woman he is barred from contacting.
Friday, Dec. 5 – 11 a.m. – A resident of Putnam Park Road reported to Westchester County Police that someone attempted to enter her residence about 2 a.m. The woman said she was in bed when she heard someone try to open her front door but assumed it was one of her parents who live adjacent to her residence. She contacted county police after determining that her parents were not involved.
4:49 p.m. – A Walmart shopper reported to county police that someone stole four hub caps off his car while he was shopping inside the store at the Cortlandt Town Center.
