Cortlandt Renews Military Tribute Banner Program
In 2021, banners will be hung in two parts of town.

CORTLANDT, NY — The Military Tribute banners that have been hanging around Cortlandt since Memorial Day are coming down.
They'll be given as a keepsake to the family or business that purchased the banner. Then the Military Tribute Banner Program will begin anew.
Cortlandt town officials have decided to not only continue but expand it in 2021.

"The banners are a beautiful tribute to honor and say 'thank you' to all of our men and women who have defended our Country and fought for our freedoms in America," said Supervisor Linda Puglisi.
The next display period will run from Memorial Day through Veterans Day 2021. The program is now open for orders.

New for this year, the sponsor will have a choice of two areas in town for display: either Route 9A near the Veterans Administration Hospital in Montrose, or along Oregon Road in the northern part of Cortlandt.
